1964 - USS Cusk Crew, Pictures & History

In addition to another WestPac in 1964, the Cusk received two important awards.  She was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Award and in November that same year, the Cusk was awarded a second battle efficiency 'E' for Submarine Division Twelve for the fiscal year 1964.  Commander William Von Christierson assumed command as the 12th captain of the Cusk from CDR Comstock.  WestPac stops in 1964 included Kobe and Sasebo, Japan.
