1963 - USS Cusk (SS-348) Year by Year

Crewmembers, Pictures and

In 1963, Captain Frank Comstock took
the Cusk south of the equator and the crew had a rare visit to Tahiti. As
mandated by crossing the equator, all of the "Pollywogs" on board were required
to undergo King Neptune's initiation as "Shellbacks.
