Cusk Torpedo Firing
The USS McDermott, DD-677 plays target for the
Cusk during a torpedo practice on May 5, 1953.
The arrow points to the front of the torpedo after it
passes underneath the McDermott. What appears
to be an admiral's barge can be seen trailing several
hundred yards behind the destroyer.
